Down to the final few of these ultra rare, 1 of 1 tie dye tees. Each one is unique due to the dying process.
This year I wanted to experiment with something beyond just a screen printed graphic, so I asked myself how can you recreate the textures of nature within a garment. Tie dying offers a texture - when using a darker shade to the tee - that resembles subtle and not so subtle patters and forms found in the everyday presence of nature itself.

New work for @montbell_uk
Along Main Street in Keswick (the place I call home) is a small piece of Japanese outdoor heritage that stands quiet, two cultures colliding to create a beautiful space.
I was asked to create the window for this season by the team (@j_joewhite ).

Function is Beauty.
There’s beauty in the wind, the rain, the ice, the cold. When your product protects you in harsh conditions it keeps you in moment, focused on your surroundings, experiencing all of nature around you.
The window articulates the idea of 'seeing beauty in the storm', softening the harshness by observing.
Was that a Bigfoot?
Illustrated screen printed tee and cap out now.
For those that exisist in the space between fantasy and reality.
In folklore Bigfoot represents a longing for humans to return to the wild ways of living, where a deeper connection to nature is found.

In a few weeks I'll be speaking at @kendalmountainfestival at the Outdoor Connections day curated by @j_joewhite
'Stop yelling and Start Talking'.
A 15 min lightening talk.
A talk that many might not want to hear but need to listen to.
My career in the outdoors is built on disrupting old thinking and presenting a different way of doing things, one that is engaged fully with creativity, purpose and culture.
It's been 10 years since The Outsiders was published, a lot has changed a lot has remained the same, I unpack that and more in the 15 mins.
Here's a sneak peak of some of the illustrations I've made that'll feature throughout the talk slides.
Tickets are on sale now. Check out kendalmountainfestival.com for more info.
