One of the most frequent questions I’m asked is how do I #pack as a houseless not homeless, jetset digital nomad??? In honor of #IWD2026 I’m excited to give you a sneak peek of our latest SLEEPING AROUND SAFELY episode featuring a forward thinking #cruiseline with multiple #women at the helm. Both the Master Ship Captain and Global President are dynamic #females sailing a new cruise line into uncharted waters - gracefully! Watch this episode for their inspiring interviews. The OTPYM crew and I set sail from the new MSC Cruises port in #Barcelona onboard the Explora II by @explorajourneys ⚓️. Even with a full day at sea, there wasn’t enough time to experience everything onboard. We explored multiple decks and pools, played pickleball, took a Pilates reformer class, and joined a craft-cocktail workshop complete with a smoke-bubble maker. We also slipped into what Explora calls an “Ocean State of Mind” during our time in the spa and salt room, followed by a deeply relaxing sound bath. After a cozy night SLEEPING AROUND SAFELY in the Owner’s Suite, we woke just in time to watch the ship sail into the port town of Málaga. Off the ship, we explored Mijas and Marbella, including an olive-oil tasting and a visit with the family behind Molino de Paca, sampling their locally made products. There are six distinct restaurants featuring global flavors—from Mediterranean coastal dishes to pan-Asian specialties—made with high-quality, fresh, and often local ingredients. Each venue reflects the brand’s relaxed European style, with curated wines and oceanfront settings. One of my favorite moments was a hands-on cooking class with Master Sous Chef Alessandro Paolella, who showed us how to make his grandmother’s truffle ravioli, paired with a beautiful wine. A true standout of the journey. Explora Journeys also waive solo supplements on select journeys + in this episode we meet their dedicated solo traveler entertainment host who curates meet ups both onboard + onshore. No really, I don’t have a house, I live permanently in luxury hotels, cruise lines + safari tents.
