Me and all my friends start our days with EHFM Mornings! Feels great to work in print again after what’s been a particular difficult last two years freelancing. We’ve been working on the EHFM Mornings rebrand for quite a while, putting it on pause for schedule changes, slot swaps and new additions to the team, and now the first look is up on a wall near you! An illustrated character icon for each mornings resident, illustrated type, social templates, print ads, schedule layouts - the full service! Each day’s show has its own personality that makes up a section of the programme’s new brand and I am really excited for it to be out in the world when it’s ready. So excited that I took all my friends to go and look at it on the way home from the pub. Out to @saintsundayy @ehfm_live ❤️ Sidebar I will be broadcasting live from @noodsradio in Bristol next week but you can listen in on either station. It will be a Mayday / Beltane special for the second year running and there will be some other excellent shows broadcasting throughout the day from Edinburgh and Bristol as part of Noods’ annual Avon Moot programme. Then I will go and see some excellent folklore offerings in Bristol and Stroud. When I get back I’ll be playing a relaxed chugging bar set at @vesselbarspilot on Friday 8th. My books for design, illustration and DJing are always open, especially if you can pay me (that would be nice). Big kiss!

One whole year of @ehfm_live mornings! Bringing you two hours of live radio every Thursday is an absolute joy (for me), here are some pictures of me having a really really nice time. Out to everyone who’s listened in this year, got in the chatroom, subscribed, or come down to dance with us. Special shout-out to all the fabulous guests who have come and had a chat with me this year! EXTRA SPECIAL shout-out to the whole mornings crew and my long suffering producer @wilson_imsorry Now onwards, I’ll be doing special shout-outs all morning on Thursday usual time 10-12. Yesterday I had the pleasure of working at @squeeze_print_studio for their Studio Print Initiative. I’ve really missed printing and it’s been quite a few years since I’ve done it. A massive thank you to Liam for running this initiative. We don’t have many print studios and the ones we do have are often expensive and create financial barriers to learning and participation. I’d really recommend this initiative, and you can also become a member of the studio (it’s a great space)! We made this CMYK print yesterday, I’ve called it ‘A Growing Dream’. I thought that would challenge me but also make things easy on the day but it wasn’t easy it was hard and my registration definitely leaves something to be desired. That being said, I’m pretty happy with them. They’re not perfect, but they’re drawn by hand, printed by a real person and have all the imperfections that comes with that and they’re all a bit different. I might do some hand finishing on some bits. There are about 20 of these with potentially more to come. I’ve set up a Big Cartel site so you can buy these for £30 each (link in bio). All the profits made (after I cover material and travel) will go to @gazasroots who are a mutual aid group run by local journalists working in Gaza. If you’re local you can get one before Christmas. Thanks to everyone who came down to @sneakypetesclub on Saturday for @ehfm_live presents ROBOT. I was so sick the week before and thought I was gonna die but I didn’t. 4 hours all night b2b was a dream for both of us and we had suuuuuch a good time. Special thanks to the mates that made it down to feed us snacks and the folks that came and chatted with us afterwards 🦾 Had to get cover for last week’s morning show bc of said sickness (thanks @bartek_lech ❤️) but back on tomorrow 10-12 sounding terrible but feeling better. I’ll have the lovely folk from @theoramawards on with me from 11. We’ll be chatting about Daphne Oram and the awards, and sharing some of the work submitted to their open call. TONIGHT Playing with Mornings pal @ravelstonbeats for the last @ehfm_live party of the year at @sneakypetesclub . My last one of the year as well. We’ll be playing b2b all night long (11-3): body music, acid, chug, techno, elastic synths, squelchers, lots of things that go beep boop. Costumes encouraged, we will probably be wearing tinfoil. We’d love a full house but please please don’t come down if you’re sick, and do a covid test if you think you might have it (and then do not come, obviously). 🦾🤖🤖🦾 Also, I drew this.
