This incredible music video, directed by Auratyk, is based on three point cloud scans that I took at locations significant to the album. During this year’s edition of the Organ Sound Art festival in Copenhagen, I had the opportunity to perform with my new musical project, which will soon be released as an album. It was an unexpected opportunity, during which I arranged the organ part during the soundcheck for the purposes of this concert. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to familiarise myself with this unique instrument a few weeks earlier, for which I would like to thank Björn Ross. The result of my research was this unique dialogue between the heavily processed electronic layer and the sonorous and microtonal qualities of the mechanical pipe organ. I am grateful to @janhoeghstricker and @koncertkirken for the opportunity to be part of this unique festival. I would like to thank all the artists for our conversations, sharing and their inspiring concerts. These were three extremely moving and intimate days, despite the large audience and the powerful sound of pressure-driven matter... Tomala presents a preview of electroacoustic works from his upcoming album Window Forms, exploring an experimental clash between composed electronic material and the physical nature of the organ. The evening continues with Calum Builder’s immersive work Fragility of Relics, performed with Gintė Preisaitė, Ferdinand Schwarz, and Michał Biel, investigating fragile intersections between sound, perception, and materiality. The night concludes with Maria W Horn & Mats Erlandsson and their site-specific project The Spectral Organ, reshaping the organ’s vocabulary through spectral harmony, four-handed performance, and live electronics. ENG_______In recent months, I have been working on a project as part of the @kpodlakultury scholarship programme entitled „Immersion of sound and image: Development of Multimedia Competences in the Context of New Technologies”. As part of the project, I am deepening my knowledge of ambisonics and the implementation of sound into the audio-reactive environment of Touch Designer. This has allowed me to expand my artistic practice with new audio-visual media. I will soon complete work on four electroacoustic compositions created using GRM Tool software. The project will run from August 2025 to January 2026. The project was co-financed by the European Union’s NextGenerationEU fund as part of the National Recovery Plan. PL______W ostatnich miesiącach pracuję nad projektem w ramach programu stypendialnego @kpodlakultury pt. „Immersja dźwięku i obrazu: Rozwój Kompetencji Multimedialnych w Kontekście Nowych Technologii” W ramach przedsięwzięcia pogłębiam wiedzę na temat ambisoniki oraz implementacji dźwięku do audio-reaktywnego środowiska Touch Designer. Pozwali to na poszerzenie mojej praktyki artystycznej o nowe media audio-wizualne. Niebawem ukończę pracę nad czterema kompozycjami elektroakustycznymi do których stworzenia posłużyło mu oprogramowanie GRM Tool. Projekt realizowany będzie od Sierpnia 2025 do Stycznia 2026 Projekt dofinansowany z funduszu Unii Europejskiej NextGenerationEU w ramach Krajowego Planu Odbudowy. Oskar interesuje się tym, w jaki sposób nasze sposoby słuchania wpływają na nasze doświadczenie percepcyjne. [ENG] Oskar Tomala - sound artist, composer and multi-instrumentalist based in Copenhagen and Gdańsk. Working in the field of electro-acoustic composition, site specific sound installations and music for motion pictures. Their work focuses on the phenomenology of intensity, ambiguity and possibility as it manifests in the perception of tones, sounds, harmony and other forms of harmonicity. Oskar is interested in how our ways of listening expending our perceptual experience. His current explorations are oriented towards the research for interaction of harmonic sound with architecture space, by performing with site specific multichannel systems, capturing acoustic resonance and measuring space impulses then by merging with the search in timbres of acoustic instruments, sine waves, white noises and sound processing. As a composer, Oskar works extensively with just intonation harmony and composes for both acoustic instruments and sound synthesis.
