In his latest collection, Oscar Bruhn Hansen draws inspiration from La Vagabonde by Colette and the queer creative circles of early 1900s Paris. Spanning five distinct looks, the collection unfolds in four stages, each exploring how clothing can serve as a medium for expressing identity. Referencing trailblazing figures like Hannah Gluckstein, Mathilde de Morny, and Romaine Brooks, Hansen blends classic tailoring, layering, and softness—challenging the binaries of masculine and feminine dress codes. Developed at the Scandinavian Academy of Fashion Design, the work bridges historical narrative and contemporary self-expression, offering a deeply personal vision of style.
