Tried to actually get paper/ink texture, instead of putting on a billion photoshop filters, after watch a few @permanentglue videos. Turns out it’s a much easier process if you have access to a decent scanner. It feels nice too. Have tried documenting the whole process and hopefully will be able to make a YouTube video out of it soon🤞
As for the poster, I came across this polish poster by Jakub Erol and went “hmm…that would make a nice poster for ‘Kurup’.” So when I had decided to try this scanning method, I thought I might as well recreate this poster. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Hopefully will be able to implement these techniques in future posters.
