It’s not every day you get to witness your best mate living his dream! I never thought it would be this emotional, this overwhelming for me to watch you perform on that stage. Don’t know why tears were rolling down my cheeks as you started playing.
No, actually I do know why.
I’ve seen the whole damn journey. From trying to learn cherathukal on a broken guitar to performing your own originals on such an incredible stage!!
I know what it took for you to get there. How you finally got the right recognition and applause that you truly deserved.
And trust me, this is just the beginning brother.
This is it. This is where you actually belong.
Ladies and gentlemen, presenting to you,
the fucking great @oru.gb !! Remember the name.
✨ Opening Lineup Announcement!
The 6th Beyond Borders Feminist Film Festival begins with its first set of films and themes — “Girl Stories” and “Breaking Stereotypes.” Join us on 24th November, 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM at Alliance Française de Delhi for a day of powerful and thought-provoking screenings.
Girl Stories brings together films that explore the worlds of girls — their dreams, friendships, rebellions, and everyday acts of courage. These stories reflect how girls see and reshape the world around them, often with tenderness and defiance.
Breaking Stereotypes challenges the fixed ideas that limit who we can be. The films in this section celebrate individuals and communities who push against norms — of gender, work, and identity — to claim their voices and spaces.
Films tell stories of change. Watching them changes lives. Be part of the opening day as we begin a week of feminist cinema, reflection, and conversation.

Chances are, every person, healthy or not, lives a life that, over time, threatens to take away all the memories they possess, to strip them bare of every trace of the life they’ve lived, or at least a large part of it, regardless of its importance to them. And one day, you realize that some may have already slipped away, with no way to retrieve them. That the people you shared them with are no longer around. That you are the sole keeper of those moments. And you begin to find ways to preserve what remains, in every fleeting instance of the life that’s left. Alone.
