George Ohr, the mad potter of Biloxi, hoarded his “mud babies.” After his studio burned, he pulled his “burned babies” from the ashes. In January, the Eaton Fire took my home, studio, and our beloved Altadena. I knew before even seeing it that I, too, would have my own burned babies.
These past two years have been filled with grief: we are witnessing a genocide, I lost my brother, and I lost my home. Im still smiling, me and the burnt babies are starting a new adventure.

4 years ago I started throwing again and it’s been a meditative and therapeutic process. I am now ready to share the byproducts of this process. I want the work to find good homes and is priced accordingly:)

This rocking chair found me on July 6th, 2019 on the night of a quake-- It has inspired me ever since.
