Orior follows up its debut with a second release: a 10-inch limited to 150 copies, curated and produced by label founder Luca Cazal, a.k.a. LVCA. On the A-side Okay Okay sees LVCA team up with US house visionary Seven Davis Jr. a bass-driven, slightly off-kilter groove laced with Seven’s unmistakable lyrical prowess. Deep yet playful, it’s a stripped-down cut that lingers long after it ends. The B-side features a solo track by LVCA ‘Winter Sketch’ — offering a deeper and more introspective counterpart. Together, the two tracks mark a subtle but certain return to house-leaning territory for the Italian producer, filtered through his analog-heavy, emotionally charged lens. Crafted in near isolation amidst the forest, Marlon’s work is untouched by the usual club influences, offering a refreshing, introspective take on new wave and 80s-inspired EBM.
