Originally pressed in 1992 on the seminal techno label Timeplan, this EP has long been a coveted gem among techno purists and collectors. Jack U. Rebels—an alias used by key figures of the German rave movement—channeled a spirit of rebellion and freedom into a sound that was both cerebral and physical. From hypnotic synth lines to cavernous, dub-infused drum workouts, The Quadrant EP captures a formative moment in techno history—when genre boundaries blurred and the rave was still wild.
