Happy Move in Monday to Kayleigh and her son, one of the first families to move into the new phase of homes at Orbit Homes at Hanwood Park.🏡 After leaving a small flat in London and moving in with family in the East Midlands, Kayleigh realised she didn’t want to go back. And we love giving back to those communities.💚 Recently we supported pupils at Elmswell Community Primary School with a donation of 400 reflective keychains. Working with the school’s Road Safety team, our colleagues chose a range of designs – from hearts and stars to footballs and animals – so there was something for everyone. Today is Hedgehog Awareness Day🦔 These small (and super cute!) creatures are in decline across the UK – and one of the biggest challenges they face is simply being able to move safely between green spaces. That’s why we include hedgehog highways in many of our developments, creating small gaps in fences that help them travel and find food easily. We believe that building homes shouldn’t come at the cost of nature and even a simple feature like hedgehog highway can make a real difference.
