It’s truly special to witness someone making a core memory for themselves and see all the factors come together to create the moment. It was a privilege to see @orange_flow do so with the First Ascent and newest route at the Walk-In which he’s helped develop. Clayton gave an incredible clutch performance and surprise 2nd go of the day send after sticking the huge sloper dead point for the first time. He then snarled and fought his way to the anchors in semi disbelief with a few raindrops falling down, with popping fall colors that seemed to match his hair perfectly. Hardest first ascent, hardest redpoint, great hangs, and a perfect moment.
