When I’m old and I need a happy moment to go back to Im going to remember when the OR team dropped that blue drape and Adam revealed to me in the most proud and humbled tone ‘It’s River Joseph, We have a son!’ Preeclampsia turned our May 6 due date baby into a March 25 baby. He was born at exactly 34 weeks. So strong yet so tiny. Adam and I have never experienced such emotions and we are just full of love and awe. He is the coolest little dude. So beautiful and perfect in every way. Even though he’s going to need some time in the NICU, we are loving every moment with him. Our family of 3 is complete ❤️💙. #birthdayseason

Crossed the border with a girlfriend 🇨🇦, and came back with a Fiancé! 🇺🇸 ❤️💍 Liz, I am so fortunate to have you as my life partner. A woman who is so kind, fun, spontaneous, thoughtful, talented, intelligent, dynamic, tough, and of course beautiful! We have accomplished a lot together in the past over year and a half. There is only a feeling of YES, when I think of you and the future! I want a lifetime of memories with you filled with adventures in all four seasons, to share our lives with family and friends, to learn from one another, offer unwavering support, to have a lazy day, to cook meals together, traveling near and far, and to let our love grow, to lead us over life’s challenges, but also to it’s greatest rewards. Wednesday 2/21/24 is a day that I’ll remember so distinctly forever. It was a bluebird day of skiing at Mont Tremblant, and in all of our days spent up north was collectively the best in every way. The conditions, the fun conversations we had together and with others, the maple taffy after skiing, hot tub, charcuterie, among many other things that played into this perfect day. I knew that it was the day to do it, and the moment was going to be in the Mont Tremblant ski village later for dinner. We got dessert first because… vacation, and @mradamx told us to get a beaver tail which is a Canadian pastry. (4th picture) After this I passed my phone on video to a man walking in our direction when Liz wasn’t looking to capture the moment. He was a complete stranger and understood the assignment and agreed to film us walking to the middle of the village common area. I’ll never forget the look of surprise on her face and the happiness we both felt in that moment. We did post ring beaver tails because we needed an updated photo with the ring, also because…vacation! This great evening was icing on the cake after an already perfect day together, and two awesome days before! I love our lives together Liz! There is so much for us to experience and enjoy! I want you by my side for all of it! I love you big thyme but most of all, I love you forever! ❤️😘 #monttremblant #engaged #fiance #lifeisgood

Sneaky powder night 3/13. Sunny morning and birds chirping turned into snow squalls throughout the day and a quick 8 inches by 7:30! At first it r@!n3d and snowed and then it turned into pow by 6:30! Made for a nice surprise for the last real snowfall of the season #swainresort #skiswain #itsaswainday #skiing #optoutside

My heart going, “Boom-boom-boom” “Son, “ he said “Grab your things, I’ve come to take you home” Hey, back home Welcome Home River Joseph Dwyer A huge thank you to all the doctors and nurses at Golisano’s Children’s Hospital at Strong. “Alright I’ve found some good stuff at Goodwill. Are you going to go along with my idea of being St. Patrick?” At first I thought, I’m not sure. I didn’t want to come off the wrong way. Saint Patrick, the Patron Saint of Ireland was once an Irish slave, escaped and then grew close to Christianity. He then spread it across the North and West parts of the country. Although it is fun folklore, he did not drive the snakes out of Ireland. There were no snakes to begin with. March 17th is his feast day, remembering the day he passed and his life’s work, and a day of celebrating Irish heritage and culture. Everyone dresses up as Saint Nick, so why not Saint Patrick instead of a bunch of fictional leprechauns? Nevertheless, it was a great day spent with my wife creating the costume and decorating the four wheeler, and celebrating with our fellow Swainites. Slainté! #swain #irishamerican #stpatrick #diycostume #parade
