Magnetic Particles - Fluorescent Dyes - Ultrasound?
Just a few techniques we use for our NDT. Non-Destructive Testing, on the grips and carriers. Sunset and Chipmunk lifts were done this week. It is one of those important preventative maintenance steps that most people never see, but it is a major part of keeping our lifts tested, maintained, and ready for the season ahead.
Every grip, every carrier, every detail matters.
This is the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our lift crew busy year-round and helps make sure we are ready to spin round and round when winter returns. A big thank you to our team for being Always On It and continuing to Keep Building season after season.

Fresh fish, bigger memories, and more summer fun at the top of the hill.
We recently restocked Saddle Pond with 100 largemouth bass ranging from 10–18 inches, along with 2,000 bait fish to support the current population and continue growing our hilltop fishing experience.
Saddle Pond is one of those special HoliMont summer spots where families can slow down, cast a line, and enjoy the mountain in a whole different way.
A friendly reminder: Saddle Pond is catch and release fishing only. Please help us protect and grow this fishery so everyone can enjoy it for seasons to come.

Work continues across the trail network as our crew gets the Bike Park dialed in for opening day.
As we get closer to lift-served riding, We welcome you to earn a your laps and pedal access open trails, dawn to dusk, at your own risk.
Respect all trail closures, give crews and equipment plenty of space, and do not move tape, signs, or barriers.

We may not be turning water into snow right now, but the work behind those first cold nights is already happening. PoleCat maintenance, repairs, testing, upkeep, and staging are all part of the year-round rhythm that helps us be ready the moment the mercury drops.

The work we do now is what makes winter happen later.
Our team is upgrading snowmaking pipe as we continue working toward a one-pressure system across the mountain. It is not flashy work, but it is the kind of behind-the-scenes investment that makes a huge difference when the temperatures drop.
A more efficient system helps us capitalize on shorter snowmaking windows, work better in milder temperatures, and continue producing the quality snow our members and guests count on.

From snow tracks to summer tracks, the work never really slows down.
Our Shop Crew, who also leads our grooming team through the winter, spends spring making the quick transition from snow season to summer operations. Machines that spent the winter pushing, grooming, hauling, and keeping the mountain moving are now getting cleaned, serviced, converted, and prepared for the next job.
The PB300 goes from winter people mover to summer mowing machine. The PB600 crane gets summer treads so it can keep moving PoleCats, hauling the welding cart, and supporting pipe replacement and snowmaking upgrades all summer long.
It is another behind-the-scenes reminder that great winters are built long before the snow flies.
