Every year we would do a stupid picture of me and Keith in the tractor down on the site on the run up to @queensparkspringweekender . It became a bit of a tradition.
Today of course was the first time I sat in the tractor alone for the photo. Another one of those small, unexpected, things that reminds me that for so long we did EVERYTHING together.
It’s painful to think that the 2025 Optimo event at Queen’s Park was Keith’s second to last gig ever - just before the crushing news of his diagnosis and the rapid decline in his health. Aye, it’s utterly surreal that this year we are having a tent named in Keith’s memory- The JD Twitch Stage and are bringing artist’s from his label to perform and remember him, his life in music and what a visionary artist and curator he was.
This event meant a lot to Keith. He brought his expansive tastes and unique vision to it from it’s inception and we are gonna celebrate him Glasgow style on Sunday!
Thanks to all the label artists and friends coming to perform at the JD Twitch / Melting Pot 25 Stage and to our Sunday Secret Guests who I can tell you are really thrilled to be here for this.
See you at The Weekend Pals!
Guaranteed Contortions from Doors til Close.

Last September, we lost Keith 💔
Queen’s Park Spring Weekender meant so much to him — he absolutely loved it.
Last year was his final Glasgow gig.
This year, that spirit continues with something really special…
The launch of the JD Twitch Stage. 🎶
Curated with so much love by Jonnie Wilkes — Keith’s friend, collaborator, and partner in Optimo — this stage brings together artists, friends, and music that feels truly special.
It’s hard to put into words what Jonnie has carried to make this happen, especially while grieving himself. I’m so grateful — not just for this, but for the support and friendship he’s shown me too 🤍
This lineup isn’t just a lineup — it’s a reflection of Keith’s world. The music he loved, the people he believed in, the energy he created.
And a very special closing set… 👀
(If you know, you know… if not — get guessing)
Hope to see you dancing in the park 🎪
You’ll find the merch stall next to the JD Twitch Stage — more details to follow.

The repress of Natural Magic - II is here.
Don't miss out a second time!
Copies are available from the OM bandcamp (link in bio) and will be appearing in shops around the world imminently.
We asked the excellent @thenaturalmagic to interview each other, separately, without conferring.
Matthew doesn’t believe in magic, Mike does - something about infinite formless consciousness being the grounds of the entire universe… ✨🪐
Neither correctly named the dive bar bathroom. Both would bake an apple pie by first inventing the universe.
Natural Magic II is out now on @optimomusic - the final vinyl release put into production by Keith McIvor (JD Twitch) before his passing in September.
Full interview at the link in bio. 🖤
