To Be is a new theatrical short film. Hamlet’s famous soliloquy about weighing life against death is retold from the perspective of a new mother. Bo is an actor forced to choose between career and parenthood. She defies expectations.

Did you know that our latest show 'The Home' was created in residence at Hereford College of Art?
Alongside the show's creation, we offered students lectures in production, light design and sound design, script design and audition technique. Students were also invited into the rehearsal room at key intervals, including the first readthrough, early rehearsals and the tech and dress run.
We also offered a student placement role shadowing the technical crew on tour!
Funded by UK Government and Herefordshire Council Shared Prosperity Funding. With financial support from The Elmley Foundation and Arts Council England.

The Home was developed from writer Gill Parsons' own lived experience as a child, and is co-created by Claire Coaché and Lisle Turner, the artistic directors of Hereford’s own Open Sky. The work combines new writing with physicalised performance, object manipulation, sound design and music, from both past and present.
