We are thrilled to be returning to Telluride @mountainfilm again this year with another short film that reminds us how time in nature can peel back the layers of our soul to reveal our human roots, and invite us to dance.
Dancing Roots is a film directed by our Creative Adventure Director , Nikki Hausherr (@nikhousemedia ) about Open Roads participant Joshua White’s(@getyouajosh ) journey of discovery. Joshua is a celebrated international dancer whose artistry bridges continents and cultures. For most of his life, Joshua’s core influence came from his mother’s Latin and Caribbean roots. But when he was chosen to participate in an Open Roads fellowship program (funded by the telos institute) that included an extended river trip in Utah’s remote wilderness, he discovered an entirely new connection to his dancing roots.
