Applications for 2024 are still being accepted, particularly for those who are after vocal tuition, early childhood classes, or if you play the viola, double bass, tuba, or percussion. Contact us today to find out more 🙂
Congratulations to our Young Con piano teacher, Rachel Hocking, on being named a finalist in the Contemporary Classical category at the @qldmusicawards !
The nominated work, Liana’s Daydream, was originally written for one of our Young Con students, Liana, when she was just 9 years old - gently encouraging her to fall back in love with the piano. Liana later premiered the piece at a Young Con recital and even included it in her AMEB Grade 4 exam repertoire. She’s still learning with Rachel today, which makes this even more special.
Congrats, Rachel! We’re so proud to have you as part of the Young Con community. 🎉💫
From practice room to the stage! There’s nothing like the moment young musicians perform live for the first time. At Young Con, our students get to build confidence, musicianship, and a love of performing.

End of last year, some very lucky Young Con students got to fly to Singapore for an amazing adventure. They got the chance to chase dinosaurs in the Cloud Dome, met Charlie the Orangutan, and devoured 250 satays like champions… 🇸🇬🔥
