🚨 EDINBURGH AND MANCHESTER!! 🚨 is there anything better in this life than playing DIY shows with dear friends? well, perhaps playing some DIY shows with dear friends that you’ve also ended up designing the posters for, through a wicked combination of naïveté and necessité. while Milton Glaser turns in his grave, hark ye! because PC, @dapplenet and @openallltheboxes are joining mighty forces to descend from the air upon Manchester and Edinburgh next month. if you’re in these historic locations we’d love to see you on: 8th June – @cafeblah 10th June – @leithdepot138 nobody knows quite what’ll happen at these performances (least of all us), but if you’d like to find out, ticket links are live in the bio now. these events are not exclusive to beasts of the air: beasts of land, sea and burden are welcome too. we’ve tried to make these shows as affordable as possible, but don’t want money to be an object here, so if you’d like to attend but can’t comfortably afford a ticket, sen us a message and we’ll sort something. 🕊️

Once again we bring you the next and last great rock show Ike Goldman forgot how to write songs about themself at some point. Or perhaps they never knew to begin with. In place of such self reflection they turned to songs inspired by the things they liked, like likenesses of well liked pop stars or varieties of disneyland. And whodathunkit, but it turns out they never really had much in common with themself anyway, and a hell of a lot more with long demolished theme park rides. I guess some people really are what they eat. Singer-songwriter Finlay Burrows (The Cindys, Nina Winder-Lind) draws from pop, folk rock and musical theatre of the past to create songs like movies in miniature, filled with stories, characters and scenes of yesterdays gone by. Tickets now available! See you there!

Happy Winter! I made a new holiday song as has seemingly become a routine. It’s my favourite routine of the year, but then again I don’t have a whole many. This one is about the transition of autumn into winter, if you couldn’t guess from the title. It was inspired by the sight of a lone leaf holding on for dear life out my window. I hope you enjoy it very much. Love, Ike xxx

--Kiki Goldman in ‘How I Learned to Sing for Statler and Waldorf’-- is out! You can hear it through the link in my bio or somewhere else probably too. Kiki is the first album I wrote that started with a title. It is an album about making an album. It is a return to purely acoustic recording, from which I have again strayed since. It is a show with a cast of characters and a list of songs that I hope you will all enjoy. Love, Ike, Kiki, Statler, and Waldorf Cover painting by Natalia Bocian, of course

Hello! I have released a new song called ‘Tuning Up’, a prelude of sorts to my new album which is out in two weeks time! Think of it as walk in music, an overture without themes, the band finding their notes. You will find a link to hear it in my bio. I really hope that you will enjoy it, love ike xxx

On the 10th of September I will be releasing and performing (for the very first time) my new album, 𝘒𝘪𝘬𝘪 𝘎𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯 '𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘐 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘚𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘞𝘢𝘭𝘥𝘰𝘳𝘧 '. The show will take place at The Old Hairdressers in Glasgow and will feature songs old and new, sweet and savoury, loved and unloved. This will also mark the debut of my hot new all-star band, and I am very excited to at last be able to perform my songs with that live sound we all love so much. It will be an evening to dig, so TTFN and see you there!

I’ve released a new EP called ‘Marywood Square’, and in my bio there is a link to hear it in the various places! Marywood Square is the first record I recorded when I moved to Glasgow two years ago. It has songs about friends, estate agents, and natalia. It took me a little while to catch up to it but I’m there now. I hope you like it.

My new album ‘Violet Row’ is out now! There is a link in my bio to hear it wherever you usually like to hear things. Like a kid in a candy shop. I made this album two years ago when I was living in Cardiff. I lived with Alice and Emma both of whom I love dearly, and inspired this album endlessly. It’s about going to Maindy Velodrome and wandering along the Taff and that’s about it. Back over the weir and through the trees. Cathaysian Songs in Westcot. I hope you love it like I do too. Love, Ike xxx
