(Haven't been posting much bc ive been super super deep in the album zone but im still here <3 and also making the best music of my life that im super excited to share <3)
I took my music off Spotify. I know that directing my 65 monthly listeners to find my music elsewhere won't effect spotify at all but the idea of my music being heard next to an ICE recruitment ad while making money that is being used to fund AI weapon manufacturering really grossed me out. If youre a musician or spotify user now is as good of a time as ever to ask yourself what you actually get out of spotify.
I know this was a comparitively easy choice for me bc of the size of my audience and I dont blame my friends who need spotify professionally for staying on there it just boiled down to me personally not feeling good abt it anymore.

Also if you know me, you have heard me rant about spotify and the cultural devaluation of music it has cause and like yeah, that's also a huge issue but maybe a separate post...
