What a day, am I right?
What started off as a seemingly ordinary day, has spun into something only the paranormal could have predicted. The sun burn, the chase, the running, the nose dive over a cliff lined with nails, the soft landing on bubble wrap filled with acid- tomorow is a new day and I will forget that any of that ever happened, like a dream that never came to fruition.
I have been having internal conversations about what I know versus what I don't know. I still don't think I'm wrong, but I'll let fate do its thing and I'll wait right here for my turn to navigate the hot and cold handles.
If thereās one thing Iāve learned, itās that when a feeling refuses to loosen its grip, itās usually pointing toward something meant to unfold.

Our trip was uncanny in so many ways. There were ironic coincidences, premonitions, unparalleled experiences, and bonding. You can learn a lot about people when you are sequestered into a small space for long periods of time together.
The experiences you have in life don't all need a photograph to document them. We don't need an alibi to live. Live your life without having to see it through a lens. Be present. Absorb it for yourself. Lean into the spaces that present themselves to you, especially when unplanned, as that's when fate steps in. The best things in life are the unplanned ones, the pleasant surprises.
We took this trip and put our phones down for most of it. It cannot be stressed enough how much more enjoyment we garnered by soaking in the rays of sun through a bug-laden windshield, feeling ice cold wind on our faces in the Grand Canyon, sweating it out on hot pavement in Death Valley, silently driving through sandstorms, foothills, and the beauty of nature's landscape.
Try it. You won't regret it.
