In the heart of Milan, OOOH Studio has crafted a sensory retreat at Nino @nino_osteria_con_cucina , where the boundaries of the traditional osteria are blurred through a sophisticated interplay of material history and nostalgia. Warm light filters through timber blinds, illuminating yellow velvet seating and marble-topped tables, while walls clad in upcycled fashion runway timber whisper stories of the city’s fleeting runway past. It is a space where the ruggedness of stiletto-marked wood meets the refined warmth of 1970s Italian posters and personal jazz archives.
The atmosphere is intentionally unscripted, favoring a "vibe" that encourages conversation and movement. By layering new interventions over recovered elements, the studio avoids the sterility of modern renovation, opting instead for a textured authenticity. From the polished steel counters to the rotating display of vinyl, every element contributes to a dialogue between the temporary and the timeless, celebrating the daily ritual of coming together.
