Jessica Oji is the dark horse of the NCAA women’s shot put 🐎
With her personal and season’s best of 18.50m, Jessica Oji is the new Nigerian indoor national record holder in the shot put. Currently ranked 4th in the NCAA as we head into championship weekend, she’s the only freshman in the competition, and the youngest athlete ranked in the top 20 in the WORLD. Win or lose this weekend, she’s one to keep your eye on 👀

2025: hands down the most challenging, yet transformative year of my life 💫
1. Got back in my self portraiture bag
2. Covered the indoor track season with the good people at @armorynyc , hosted trackside interviews live on @peacock , and shot some of my favorite photos at Nike Indoor Nationals
3. Made magic with @therunningevent for the 2nd year in a row. Year 3 loading 📶
4. Celebrated the Queen Mother’s 70th in Jamaica
5. Produced, directed, and shot my first feature length film HERO alongside @tommie_runz , @thespeedproject , and shared with @makerunning
6. Joined the @flotrack team
7. Lived and created in NYC, Atlanta, and Austin
8. Covered the WNBA Draft with @risingmediastars
9. Went to Italy to cover my first trail race @goldentrailworldseries , captured some of my best photography in the Italian Alps, and made a photobook out of it.
10. Ate plentiful pancakes at @goldendinerny
