Four years ago my friend Eugene Rodriguez, a San Francisco based artist, contacted me to photograph the making of his next art film. The film’s story line was about the unknown, long lost relative of Andy Warhol, RudeE Warhol, and the band he managed, The Cracked Velvets. For the next 3 years we had a blast making the film and I was honored that Eugene put his trust in me in documenting his creation. Now, 4 years later, the film along with related artworks are currently on exhibit at the Lancaster Museum of Art and History - MOAH! The exhibition will be up through August 30th, and on June 13th, Eugene and I will have a public conversation at the museum about this beautiful show! Don’t miss it! Here, Eugene is pictured with blown up versions of The Cracked Velvets first two albums!
