We are back in @exclaimdotca for less savory reasons
Last year, our debut record was targeted by bots against our control or consent. It was immediately flagged by Spotify, and taken down by Distrokid. We did not pay for stream inflation, and we deserved justice that Distrokid nor Spotify was willing to provide. Instead of eating the loss and re-uploading to Spotify, we decided to denounce the streaming service and take to the media.
Not being on the most popular streaming platform surely does not do us any favors as an independent band, but as of now this is our decision. In light of the atrocities CEO Daniel Ek participates in, we're not exactly rushing back to the platform.
