I’ve done a lot of digital work and this past year I’ve tried to dive more into practical work. I love the tactility of the work and everything feels more three dimensional. This kind of started that process. I carved this into a piece of 100 year old chair with an ice pick. Fun! The last pic was my first idea for this single (which in retrospect may be better)

My very first attempt at cutting paper. Did this as single art for @thecorvettesunset (check the single out wherever you listen to things). I used forget-me-nots from my lawn for the couch pattern. Stupidly I did not glue any of this down and some parts were lost plus the flowers shrivelled to nothing so the second pic is me gluing everything down and recreating the parts that were lost and the flowers out of paper. The original was much better.

Moving back in time, this was my second attempt at cutting paper. Another gig poster for one of my own projects. As someone who is colourblind I’m quite happy with how well this came together. My ‘S’s have gotten much better.
