After much deliberation, weâre proud to present the longlist for the 2026 One World Media Awards đ
Each longlisted entry sheds light on issues shaping our world â from conflict and democratic backsliding to violence against women and girls, as well as some of the most urgent environmental challenges we face. These stories are told by journalists and filmmakers with the access, insight and determination to bring underreported issues to light.
Over the next month, our judges will narrow this list down to three finalists in each of our 14 categories, with winners announced in June.
