I've been taking photos of the boys in the band since we started. Thanks to
@headonphotofest I'm having my first solo show featuring some of those photos this month at
@onelessdecision gallery, around the corner from our studio in Marrickville.
The exhibition is, somewhat pretentiously, titled
"portraits from the road" - stylised in lower case of course - and It's running for just three Sundays (the 16th, 23rd and 30th of Nov) from 8am - Midday.
They serve amazing
@artificercoffee there, you can buy prints if you want - l've made a really affordable signed edition (and a somewhat unaffordable limited edition too for people who want some rare fine art indie folk documentary style shots!).
Come hang, drink coffee, look at the pictures, talk to me (I'll be there on the 16th and 23rd, got a
@boyandbear gig in WA i& on the 30th) and say hi to Dan who makes the coffee and is also a skilled conversationalist. There'll be no hard sell, or soft sell for that matter, just stories from the road to go with the portraits from the road. Big love and have a great weekend, Jon
