📝 THE SHOOT
@canonaustralia
Shooting from The Top of The Rock NYC with Aubrey (2017) Concept: animated boomerang using only a still image. I wanted to simulate the holy grail day-night hyperlapse. I’ve been creating some motion design/vfx focused ads for a client, really trying to create different/signature visuals. Apps used:
@lightroom @photoshop Premiere Pro, After Effects. ⠀ ⠀
💻 THE EDIT
@adobe @adobecreativecloud
@photoshop : cut out buildings from background > use Fill: Content aware, clean up using spot removal
@ligtroom : Correct WB (warmer)> Create an S-curve > HSL: - ALL blue/teal sat, - orange lum > Graduated filter bottom (darken), top (lighten)> (lighten)
Photoshop + After Effects + Premiere for animated lines + Title ⠀ ⠀
💡 TIP: Parallax Effects can be emphasised when timed to a music track’s beat drop and speed ramp.
