Day 3 of the OneAbility Games brought a lot of memorable moments. It marked the first day of the ACHIEVE stream with the start of the 2026 Wheelchair Basketball National Championships and Senior National Goalball Championships as well as the end of the formal portion of our PLAY stream. This was also the moment both streams overlapped, allowing student athletes and competitive athletes to connect, inspire, and exemplify the power of sport and inclusion.
Other highlights from day 3 include:
- Our AccessAbility Workshop presented by
@insight_global - featuring a presentation from
@rickhansenfdn on accessibility, inclusion, and identity, as well as an incredible panel discussion hosted by
@nathanclement11 and featuring the insights of
@m_4_mahon @joshvandervies and
@stephanie_cadieux - a huge thank-you to each of you for sharing your wisdom, experience, and passion for sport.
- Over 300 smiling student faces being celebrated and trying adapted sport 🎉
Day 4 will bring the start of the remainder of our ACHIEVE Sports with the Blind Hockey BC cup beginning, and SuperHEROS with
@heros_hockey will still be out playing some exhibition games over the weekend as part of our PLAY stream, so stay tuned for more ACTION!
