Late Governor Akeredolu began the project in 2023. The administration of Governor Aiyedatiwa has been working on it for the past 3 years.
According to reports, Vice President Kashim Shettima will commission the flyover today.

Celebrating one of the living legends in Ondo State, Pa Reuben Fasoranti is 100 years old Today 🎂🎉
Pa Reuben Fasoranti is one of our founding fathers in Ondo State, an elder statesman, administrator, pro-democracy activist, prominent politician and the foremost Afenifere leader.
Baba Fasoranti is the founder of Omolere Nursery and Primary School in Akure, Akure High School and St. Frances’ Academy, Igoba, Akure, which he founded in memory of his late wife.
He served meritoriously as Commissioner for Finance in the administration of the late Chief Adekunle Ajasin in old Ondo State.
Baba Fasoranti has paid his dues as one of the people who invested heavily in the development of our dear State. He's the only recognised leader of Afenifere.
