Over 1,000 houses and businesses have already been washed away. Ayetoro is a beautiful town that was once known as the "Happy City," built on faith, unity, and hard work.
Victoria Island and Eko Atlantic City in Lagos would have been wiped away by ocean surges if the government had not intervened by building a seawall using interlocking concrete blocks. This could have saved Ayetoro.
