We've been absolutely spoiled recently with the caliber of touring acts making this stop off on their way through our country and this one was no exception.

Off the back of a world tour that spanned majority of 2024, Onanizer, who formed in 1996, are bringing their intense set to New Zealand and Aus for the first time ever.
Having played numerous festivals around Europe, and live shows around the world, they have been dubbed as a live band everyone has to see.

Both gigs in which I was involved last night were heaps of fun!
Put needles through my arms and throat at Altar, then ran to Republic to catch the end of Woolworths Flu Shot and Smug Anime Face, before performing with Onanizer.

For those that wanna keep going or get out of town for the night, Smug and Onanizer are playing a bush gig at Koonya Hall tonight.
Zac Henderson is doing a swampy acoustic set, too, which will be awesome and I think Mark Downie might be doing some murder ballads, so it should be an alround great celebration of musical negativity and existential dread xx
