There’s a version of this where the oil dripped too fast, the sand kept shifting and nothing was sitting right. and then somehow it all came together. the way the light wrapped around the glass, pulled out the warmth in the honey and made the sand feel almost golden was something else. we kept the camera slow and close, unhurried, letting every texture take its time.

The brief said clean and minimal. So we let the sand do the heavy lifting. The teal against all that white, the bottle settled in like it grew there, a minimal use of petals because sometimes one element is all it takes to make a set feel alive. We’re used to working with subjects that have an expiry date. This one was refreshingly patient. Same obsession though.

Every element on this set was a decision. The driftwood base to ground the richness of the amber glass, a few red florals placed just enough to echo the warmth of the oil inside, the dark negative space to let the product breathe. We’re used to sets where the subject is slowly dying. This one just sat there, unbothered. But the obsession doesn’t switch off. Every prop, every texture, every shadow still placed with the same intention. Styling is styling. Whether it’s edible or not, it has to feel like something.

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure and opportunity to meet and work with several founders, big and small. But it’s only some of them whose vision really resonates and their brand’s presence is something I love to stand behind. I personally believe in FirstClub’s mission to make good food easy to access to create a lifestyle that is healthy with ease
