@omiflowers is a multidisciplinary artist from Peru, based in New York, whose work blurs the lines between object and artwork, play and critique. Using traditional materials alongside found objects and experimental processes, her practice forms hybrid pieces that feel at once constructed and organic — fossils of contemporary perception. At #reafair2025, Treistman presents Island (eco)system, a sculptural installation activated through sound performance. Resting on an ultramarine blue carpet — evoking both ocean depths and digital screens — the work questions the tension between nature and technology, physicality and illusion. Layered with ceramic, found objects, and ephemeral materials, the piece becomes a floating system where doubt is as vital as form. @omiflowers è un’artista multidisciplinare originaria del Perù e con base a New York. La sua pratica si muove tra oggetto e opera d’arte, tra gioco e critica, utilizzando materiali tradizionali accanto a oggetti trovati e processi sperimentali. Le sue opere assumono forme ibride, fossili contemporanei che appaiono sia costruiti che organici.
