It’s time for playoff basketball in Rip City, where better to spend it than at Spirit of 77? Way back when, we got to design the Iconic @spiritof77bar . Mirroring the spirit of the team’s lone championship season, we designed (and built) the entire space, yes, even the handcrafted wooden sign and basketball arcade! In addition, the menus come in sports memorabilia acrylic displays and trading cards. Inspired by the traditional bàcari of Venice, Bar Sprezzatura brings aperitivo culture to San Francisco’s Financial District (and now to second location in NYC!). Bustling by day and convivial by night, the identity channels Italy’s idea of effortless elegance—balancing relaxed coastal allure with mid-century refinement through geometric wordmarks, hand-drawn details, and a winged lion emblem inspired by Piazza San Marco. Architectural patterns and playful idioms woven throughout create a transportive experience that feels both sophisticated and delightfully unpretentious. Sorelle—Italian for sisters—takes its name from two sisters who, more than a century ago, ran a school for underprivileged children in this historic building. Where southern Italy meets Southern hospitality, the identity blends Charleston’s history with old-world charm through handcrafted typography and gestural illustrations inspired by traditional Italian signage. At The Louie, history feels personal. Designed as an intimate extension of Spokane’s Historic Davenport Hotel, this boutique hotel blends heritage with residential charm. Inspired by local icon and hotelier, Louis Davenport, and his private quarters in the Miller Building, the brand is layered with custom typography drawn from his handwriting, along with lilac motifs honoring both the city’s flower (and festival) and Louie’s personal connection to botany. Introducing Emporium, the newly reimagined market within the Historic Davenport Hotel. The brand mark is inspired by the Art Deco shapes in the space, taking a modern approach to the contrasting letterforms. The secondary mark uses traditional export marks as its muse, evoking a seal of quality for the Emporium’s goods while also serving as a mark of origin, linking it to the hotel and the city of Spokane. A comprehensive brand refresh for the Historic Davenport Hotel, located in Spokane, WA. At over 100 years old, we considered its history, impact, and legacy, and injected new life into the already iconic landmark. Inspired by tourist ephemera of the hotel’s origin, the forms are strong, classic, and timeless, drawing visitors in just as the postcards did at the time of its construction.

We heard it was 2016 again 😗 An exciting era for OMFGCO: the opening of our burnside office (rip), the start of our sticky note murals, a wonderful relationship with @stumptowncoffee taking us to the PDX airport (B.C [before new carpet] times), campaigning with Electric Lettuce, Billboards to show the importance of Karaoke, the construction of the Laylow, and a reminder of the friends we made along the way, an incredible community built across the PNW and beyond :,) #omfgco #graphicdesignstudio #2016
