Wow @realcoleworld The Fall Off is officially here. I’m super, super proud of my dawg and everyone that worked on this album. I’m honored and grateful to have produced on Two Six, The Villest, Poor Thang and Quik Stop. For those that don’t know I’ve known Cole since he was 14 and he’s had the same integrity, honor and talent this entire time. Obviously one of the greatest rappers of all time, but an even better human being. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of an amazing album and again big shout to everyone involved with this project. Peace and love.
Also, this post might not show it but damn I’m hella geeked to have produced on a song that has @erykahbadu . I’m still tripping. God is great.
I know — it’s been a minute. 10 years is wild.
Some of y’all been wondering what happened.
Life took me in some directions I didn’t expect.
But I never stopped working.
This is the beginning of letting y’all know where I’ve been.
Thank you for still rocking with me.
It’s time.
granny house again.

I messed up the audio on my last post of this smh lol, so I asked @ariel.anais if I could borrow the footage she posted. Much love and appreciate everyone that came to the show, and again thank you to Ari for having me, so we could all perform Got Me for the first time 🙌🏾
My mind told a story that I didn’t belong
Repeated it like a song
Til it didn’t feel wrong
To play small
And passive
glass ceiling
got smashed
Soon as I was aware of it
Shout out to my parents
Made me feel proud of my heritage
Rest in peace
Uncle Mark
Was working at Meryll Lynn
Drove me round to see Garnett hooping at Farragut
Alley oop to Ronnie Fields
Had me out of character
Past times on rewind
I honor and cherish it
Writers block felt embarrassing
Had me choosing words
Like a nigga choosing surrogates
I was losing courage
playing victim temporarily
It didn’t occur to me
Might’ve needed therapy
Scared to ask for help
It make me feel like im a charity
Y’all aint really hearing me
Its way more than fear in me
witnessing these niggas turning rap into a parody
What’s the last classic you heard
asking for clarity?
Born with a passion for words
I’m tryna capture the blur
My mind sees
When they cap unnecessarily
I got sincerity, and through all of my hilarity
I somehow made it to prosperity
I turned my demons to a massacre
A killing scene
Don’t take a rap genius to see
What my lyrics mean
Some niggas wanna challenge you
To listen to a puzzle
Some niggas wanna brag
Seeing if you match the hustle
My mission is to reach you
Get connected on a level
That shifts your soul
Somewhere special
Closer to the God inside of your vessel
Sometimes Hyde
Sometimes I’m more Jekyll
Sometimes fly
Sometimes I’m more ghetto
My pen scribes to bring light for your shadows
Ari text me Thursday at like 11:30am asking could I catch a flight to LA and head to airport in like 45 minutes to perform “Got Me” with her, @dreezy and @tydollasign for the first time. Slightly hectic lol, but it was an honor, a lot of fun and I definitely felt the love. Appreciate you @arilennox for having me. You put on an amazing show ❤️
My true joy comes from bringing an idea I received to life in the same way I saw it or heard it in my head. But, that resulting in producing on the number one album in the country is an incredible bonus lol. Again, thanks to God, everyone involved with this album, and to all the people supporting. Peace and love.
This has been on my TikTok but decided it needs to be here also. This is the full clip from Dreamville Fest 2024. It’s the most risky thing I’ve ever done live and as confident as I can be sometimes, I was hella nervous this day. I had been stressing over performing without new music and Cole was like what if you did some new shit on the spot in front of everyone? The nerves and audacity of that idea immediately let me know I had to try it. Thankfully it went well. I appreciate everyone that helped create that moment with me there. And yes, my new album still coming for sure for sure. Peace and love yall
