om*LOG: Com*MUNITY SERVICE II
The mainstay in our process over the Com*MUNITY SERVICE series is building. Much like it takes time to build a community, when it comes to our campaigns, they take time to build.
This footage is a culmination of months broken down to 40 seconds.
For this campaign we wanted to create dimension, so we decided to build 2 walls, and paint so they blend seamlessly together as a “room”.
No preparation going into this painting process. We had a vision that involved throwing thinned paint at the wall, so that’s exactly what we did. With some love and spontaneity, it was everything we hoped for.
When it was time to film, we knew this story was all about unity and identity. Identity is something to cherish and be proud of, while at the same time, it can force you into a box. Having experienced a complicated identity my whole life, this story was about breaking those boxes, lowering the veil, and stepping into acceptance.
This time we’re taking a new approach to the log series, excited to show you all what we have planned. I’ll see you May 23*******
