ORGANELLA 2013 Performance, Installation ORGANELLA The organs and earth strata are two sides of the same coin. Like a great wave, they billow and twist. Within that wave, biological memory arrives at me. ORGANELLA A word meaning little organ in a cell. A “vessel” by which cells live in symbiosis. The awesome, deep in biological memory, cause me to tremble. ORGANELLA In this vessel, gathering cells wriggle and squirm. Eventually, they overflow from the body wall And, wandering about, transform into premonition of a new body.   The performance played in the rain. The scene of the day was like a three-dimensional objects, which was expressed to wave the evolution of life, like swimming in the ocean. Co-directed by Meg Ninja and Yamar Yoshida. A mobile intermedia performance held on Kozushima Island. ■ Concept: Safari / Outlaw 狩猟・探検を意味するSafariと既存の制度から逸脱するアウトローの精神。かつての流人『ジュリアおたあ』や 15世紀の追いはぎハイウェイマンの歴史を参照点とし、通行を阻むアクションを通じて路上に概念的な火を置く試み。 Exploring the themes of Safari / exploration and hunting / and Outlaw / social deviation /. Referencing the history of exiles and highwaymen, the project aims to manifest a conceptual fire on the streets through performances that disrupt everyday movement. I’m honored to have participated as a game developer in OLTA’s new work “Eternal Labor,” presented at the Aichi Triennale 2025. Outside the performance hours, visitors were able to experience the game work in the exhibition space. “Eternal Labor” by OLTA @olta_play 10(Fri)-13(Mon), 15(Wed)-19(Sun), October, 2025 Venue: Aichi Prefectural Art Theater, Mini Theater (B1F) Description of the game “Ecofeminist Extraction” An ecofeminist beekeeper is envisioning a new kind of business. The honey, extracted and bottled to the brim, comes from post-bee-humans. As bottles of various shapes -and even human mouths- flow past, the honey is poured in without spilling a single drop. “Eternal Labor” “It’s like we’re bugs. That’s right. We are. Laborers are bugs. Once you say it, it becomes real.” OLTA’s latest work dives deep into the ideological currents that flow from modernity to the present.
