Music will be a nice level for a chat, many are playing vinyl, plus the dancefloor is there for any folks who fancy a boogie. 💃

🎧 2-4pm DJ Grace Attlee will play relaxed music whilst we draw/craft
🎧 4-6pm DJ Amy Zing will play girl power classics while we craft and/or boogie
The bar will be open during both events (also serving teas and great soft drinks) & there’ll be arts supplies aplenty or bring any crafts you’re working on 🎨 PLUS you’re welcome to order pizza from Casa and they’ll bring it over 🍕🎉
Whatever is made on the door I’ll split equally for all artists involved. If you buy a tea or a drink hopefully that will cover tech. Arts funding is so hard to get and festivals and venues are closing everywhere. Please appreciate and support your local art scene out here still trying to keep it going! 💪
Obviously men are welcome, and I shout this loudly for all to hear: trans women are women. Non binary folks can celebrate IWD, obvs! It’s a day for all. Bring your sisters, mummas, aunties, grandmas, nieces, daughters, enbys and lovely male allies! 💅

Hello all. Ahmed is one of the Palestinians I speak to regularly, he lives in Gaza with his wife Rawan, young son Tariq and newborn daughter Ghada. He is a gifted artist and was studying law before his home was destroyed. In that attack, he also lost his brother, grandfather, and grandmother.
He and his young family are living day to day, trying to survive on very little food and shelter this winter. Now the crossings to Gaza have been closed again due to the current conflicts.

Christmas catch-up post! I’m going to take a break from social media for a little while, but wanted to post a few moments from the festive season. Among them our Christmas Day table, a wonderful soulful winters evening with @sabinadesir6613 , a jazz jam with @dancequeendqbernadette and @concettasidoti and I finally finishing the taskmaster advent calendar. Completely forgot to take pictures with the Christmas Day fam and @catrinosborne , it was a lovely day! Happy New Year to everyone.
