The devastating beauty of man’s yearning for meaning manifested through its artefacts and architecture, through the lens of the narrative of divine redemption and immortality, combined with the interplay of nature’s light and shadow inside that sacramental space, is enough to make one stop and go: “wow, this would make a cool post on my Insta feed if I added a nice colour grade and some vibey film grain”
Today was as good as it gets. We recorded the score to my latest short film with the Budapest Symphony Orchestra. Breathtaking music by @annedern Hosted by the awesome @wearemusiversal 📽️🎶🎻 Played by @budapestsymphonyorchestra - Video edit in my next post
One of the highlights of 2024 for me was giving a Masterclass to the filmmakers of tomorrow @londonscreenacademy
An incredible facility that I would have been first in line to attend for Sixth Form at their age, with all the cameras, lights, computers, books, sets, costumes and more that you could possibly want access to. Truly an inspiring and forward thinking collaboration by some of the pillars of UK British Filmmaking. The future is in good hands.
If you’re a film school and are interested in this 45 minute presentation, drop me a message! It was a thrill to reflect on the last 15 years of being a freelancer, and to give back in a small way.
A big thank you to @hannon_on_film for inviting me to talk! 🙏🏽
