I recently watched young Sherlock and it reminded me I had this old 8mm of @hero_ft that had never seen the light of day. One sunny day in London @rosie_matheson was shooting with Hero and his dog Diesel and I tagged along and captured this Super 8
Some frames I like from a recent shoot with the good people @origincoffeeroasters for their Lunar New Year coffee. Was fun to light some product and get some interesting macros. I can also confirm, the coffee is delicious.
4 days in beautiful Wales was just what the doctor ordered.
We played chess, cards and listened to music.
Coffee and books in bed.
We ate good food and drank good booze.
We walked through woodlands, over marshes and up mountains.
We dipped in icey cold rivers (in my case not very gracefully).
We put the phones down and shut the laptops. Disconnect to reconnect and all that.
*enjoy the raw unedited sounds of the beautiful landscapes, and me screaming as I fell of an underwater ledge into the icey river.

Was really fun working with @robynpoppy coming up with a package of social first reels for some Christmas gift box content, along with a photo package. Here is a little ASMR style edit of Robyn in one of rest and wilds’ amazing off grid cabins and a small selection of stills I liked.

This was a really fun day of filming and always an absolute pleasure to work with Robyn. As we were a nimble two person team we took the decision to cancel the original shoot date to avoid some very grey and windy weather. Our risk was rewarded with a day of beautiful sunshine, don’t get it twisted though, it was bitterly cold so props to Robyn for staying in the water whilst I ran around getting multiple angles!!
We needed peace so so badly. We were headed north to Scotland but stopped in the Lake District to rest on the way. Winter cold still had hold of the mornings and evenings in late April but the van was cosey enough. 8 hours driving in the van because of M5 traffic. A pint of local ale was just what the doctor order to shake off the drive. We swam in this lake in first light bliss. Excited for more adventure in the new year.
Can feel the sun of this day when I think back to it. Half way through the hike take a break on top of a hill, dried mango, energy bar and rolls. Hike back to the van, jump in the loch to wash the day off, start a fire, open a beer. Perfect
This was a lovely day spent filming the good folk at @plant_one_cic along with some volunteers, carrying out their first tree release.
