The OK Program of the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office was proud to partner with the Robert Say McIntosh Foundation for the 2nd Annual “All Senior Citizens” Merry Christmas Free Lunch. We truly enjoyed the opportunity to serve and connect with our senior citizens and were grateful for the strong turnout at the Willow House (Maple Place) Public Housing Complex in North Little Rock. On Saturday, the OK Program of Pulaski County was blessed with a home-cooked meal prepared and provided by the U.B.O.F. Masonic Grand Lodge and the Eastern Star Ladies of Amos Chapter 003 of Little Rock. We truly appreciated the kindness and generosity they showed our young men. Their service and support will never be forgotten. We are grateful for their commitment not only to our program, but to the entire community. Morehouse recognizes Founder & CEO of the OK (Our Kids) Program, Donald Northcross as a King of Color for his collaborative, team mentorship model that transforms Black men and boys lives by bringing together local police officers, school districts, and faith-based communities. Voted the most inspirational recruit from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Academy, Donald Northcross’ passion to reduce the high rates of homicide and incarceration impacting young Black boys’ lives led to action and the founding of the OK Program in 1990. Today, the @okprogram continues to develop leadership capacity, critical thinking skills and promotes academic excellence. Guided by Donald’s leadership, the OK Program has equipped thousands of young men with the necessary tools to achieve personal success. +++ Kings of Color are men who exemplify leadership and purpose-driven living in their self-determined disciplines. Each week, Morehouse College will uplift a King of Color who is impacting their industry or community for the better, while raising up leaders to do the same
