These photos popped in my gallery yesterday and it was a reminder of what was happening on that day a year ago.
Looking through these photos, I’m reminded of what friendship represents. How refreshing it is to have people I call, “my people.”
A year down the road, a lot has changed amongst us. It’s crazy how much can change in a year. A lot has stayed the same too. Friendships have been tested and have survived. One thing that has stayed the same is that @thechef.tucker Tucker’s head is still larger than mine. 💀 We measured. 😂🤲🏽

Earlier this week, I had the privilege of being at a workshop organized by @tellthatstory_ and Pa Eni Ehikhamenor was our guest!
Listening to him, a 93yr old professional photographer, it was much more than photography tips, it was multi layers of wisdom. A man, rooted in his identity and authentic to the core. He had no airs about him.
He shared lessons on staying in the present, staying happy and being in control of our emotions. 🥹
His lengthy professional journey is a reminder to us that we really can just do things.
And we really should do things.
