Amatori x Kizen • Artist introduction #4 @___romi_ is a Berlin-based DJ and head of @kizenrecords . His practice centers on creating immersive, narrative-driven DJ sets that explore the intersections of ambient, downtempo, dub, and hypnotic techno. With a strong sensitivity to atmosphere and flow, he builds slow-evolving sound journeys that emphasize texture, space, and emotional resonance. @schwarzmalerei_music is the project of German sound artist Robin Küsters. Based in the north-west and surrounded by nature, his work is deeply influenced by his environment, blending atmospheric textures with synthetic elements and hypnotic rhythms. In 2025, he released his debut album “Wandlung” on Amatori. Romi and Robin will open tomorrow’s listening session at @studio.soft.berlin with an extended hybrid b2b set. Amatori x Kizen • Artist introduction #3 Stefano Stereo is a Berlin-based composer, performer, and co-founder of the Amatori collective. Developing his musical language through low-tempo rhythms and an extensive use of sampling, he crafts compositions that guide listeners through deep, shadowy electronic environments, reflecting his interest in the emotional dimensions of sound. Stereo’s discography includes contributions to several Amatori releases, such as Lub ~ Dub, SAAL002, and Void. His solo release Together stands as a milestone, tracing a melancholic, at times heartbroken journey through different yet similar emotional states. Alongside his studio work, he performs both as a DJ and in live collaborative settings, known for mindful selections spanning meditative and experimental electronic and non-electronic music from around the globe. Across his releases, he shapes compositions that are both meditative and structurally fluid, characterized by layered sound design and a subdued, emotional tone. He has contributed to multiple releases on the Amatori label, including tracks on Die Insel, Lub ~ Dub, and Void, alongside his solo works Recel and Punt. He is co-founder of Melantónia (@melantonia.collective ), a collective, label, and curatorial platform working across non-dance environments and experimental arts. World premiere: Javier Marimon presents A Ras A/V Live. A rare opportunity to experience his work live in italy. A Ras means “very close to the ground.” Born from the friction between high-rise velocity and the raw humidity of the forest floor, the project is an effort to level aspirations, stripping away vertical ambition, seeking height only to catch the best sun, and a focus on dilettantism. A Ras A/V live is the digestion of natural entropy, the million shakes of the deciduous forest, the liquid vocabulary of water tapping on all surfaces and the heavy computations of a brain in a new, wild environment. This is work shaped by new wrinkles and old scars, ever-morphing into unknown, ambiguous and abstract shapes that don’t need to be understood, rather swallowed before thinking.
