Last night was a pretty special moment for Team OTBT 🧡
We proudly represented Western Australia at the 2025 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards and were awarded 🥉 Bronze in Excellence in Accessible Tourism.
Honestly… I’m still pinching myself. It was an emotional evening 😭and an incredibly proud moment celebrating alongside so many incredible tourism operators from across the country.🥂
To my incredible team, thank you for bringing this vision to life every single day. Your compassion, flexibility and belief in what is possible is changing lives and creating real impact out on the trails. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by such an amazing group of humans who care so deeply about what we do.😍
And to my family, thank you for supporting the crazy schedule, the big ideas and everything that comes with building a small business. Your support means more than you know.😘
Accessible tourism is about something very simple...
Belonging.🫶🏻
Belonging on trails.
Belonging in experiences.
Belonging in travel.
At OTBT we get front row seats to something really special. We watch hikers living with disability achieve things they once thought were impossible. The smiles, the tears and the high fives at the summit… that's the real prize.🏆

What an honour it was to be recognised at the 2025 Perth Airport Tourism Awards last night! 🏆
Being awarded Gold for Accessibility means the world to me because it represents inclusion, the idea that everyone deserves to experience the magic of our trails and wild places.
Thank you to my incredible team who give so much of themselves delivering incredible experiences, every single day! My beautiful hikers who trust us and keep coming back to discover more of WA thank you so much, these awards are for you.❤️

What a STUNNING day we had exploring Creery Wetlands & one of Thomas Dambo's Mandurah Giants yesterday on the Giants & Wetlands Wander in Mandjoogoordap🧡
This special edition hike was thanks to @city_of_mandurah and @actbelongcommit and gave local families the chance to discover something new in their own backyard!🫶
The Wetlands here hold incredible ecological importance and see over 22 species of migratory shorebirds visit each year. The wetlands serve as a critical stopover for birds undertaking massive 25,000-kilometer round trips from their Arctic breeding grounds in Siberia, North China, and Alaska!🐦🪿🦩
Thanks to our beautiful guests for joining us for this special edition hike, we hope you had a blast and learnt something new 😍

Who knew hiking and camping overnight was so much fun?⛺️😍
Well it’s now a lot easier for these new hikers after our Accessible Adventures Overnight Workshop held over the weekend in stunning weather at Hewett’s Hut on the Bibbulmun Track.🌞
From planning your first overnight or multi-day hike and what to pack, from tents and sleep systems to what to eat and how to cook it safely – we had it all covered in our interactive outdoors workshop held along the #BibbulmunTrack.
Our guests enjoyed practical demonstrations on how to pack your pack, hiking equipment, how to cook yourself a delish dinner and plan your meals, site selection and tent set up and soooo much more! 🙌
Some of our guests even took the plunge and camped overnight under the stars in perfect conditions, enjoying a warm fire (a few toasty marshmallows) and a delicious meal prepped using their new camping know-how.🔥
As the sun rose, so too did our new overnight hikers, happily tucking into hearty breakfasts and hot coffee and enjoying the short walk back to civilization and the prospect of a hot shower. 😊
We think our guests may have even enjoyed the workshop and hiking as much as we did 😉, and we trust we provided some valuable insights to help take your next steps towards fulfilling your hiking dreams and goals!🫶
Our deepest thanks to the @cityofkalamunda for partnering with us to deliver Accessible Adventures over the past 12 months, it has been incredible and so rewarding for all! Massive gratitude to @cits_wa for providing opportunities like this to build knowledge and skills through the Hiking Participation Grants. 👌
Annnd massive kudos to Guides Kirsten (Spesh) & Anji (Stack) for delivering such a fun, engaging and overall epic 24hr Overnight workshop; sharing all your knowledge, tips, hacks and inspo gained over spending thousands of kilometres on track, on numerous adventures across Australia!🧡
We love nothing more than supporting everyone in our community to get out on the trails and enjoy nature, it's soooo good for the soul and... it's why #OffTheBeatenTrack began!
Only 2 days left to secure your place to hike, wine and dine with us in June on the Southern Forest Weekender!🥾🥂🍽

Tucked away in the #PerthHills, Jarrahdale is one of those places that quietly steals your heart.🌿🫶
It's a town where history lingers in the forest, trails weave through towering jarrah trees, and every visit feels like a reset.
And the trails... well, they're some of my favourites... and better yet, they're right in my backyard!🧡
I'm delighted to be launching their new #trails on 1 June at Awaken - Jarrahdale Trails Day.
If you want to be part of the fun, there are only 2 places left for the Whim Wellness Wander and the Jinker & Jarrah experiences have already sold out!😱
And, from 28 June, we kick off our Kitty's Gorge Hikes in Serpentine National Park!🙌 Now including transfer from Serpentine Falls to Jarrahdale, which means even beginner hikers can experience the entire Kitty's Gorge track from end to end, without the return walk.🥾
See you in Jarrahdale soon!🧡

⛰️⛰️⛰️⛰️ 4 mountains. 48 hours. One absolutely unstoppable woman.💪
This weekend, Heena took on an epic challenge in the #StirlingRange as part of her training for an upcoming international mountain ascent… and WOW did she rise to it 💪🔥
Mount Trio ✔️
Bluff Knoll at sunrise ✔️
Mount Talyuberlup at sunset ✔️
Mount Hassell ✔️
Every climb came with its own challenges. Early alarms, tired legs, steep ascents, changing conditions, big emotions and some seriously gritty moments.
But Heena showed up for every single step with determination, resilience and an incredible attitude 👏🧡
We are SO bloody proud of you Heena!! Watching you dig deep, trust yourself and achieve something this massive was honestly such a privilege. This is what hiking is all about. Pushing beyond what you thought was possible and discovering just how capable you really are 👣
And huge love to our epic guides
and Support Crew Kym & Estelle who helped make this challenge happen. The early starts, logistics, encouragement, snacks, the best hot chai tea in the world at the summit (right Heena?😉), pacing, laughs, safety and support behind the scenes never go unnoticed 🙌
Legends...Got a dream hike?
A wild goal? Something that feels a little scary, exciting or even impossible?
Get in touch! We’d love to make it happen for you! 🧡

What a perfect day we had #offthebeatentrack on Saturday for our Dwellingup Trains, Trails & Woodfired Delights 🚂👣🍕
Beautiful people, enjoying the beautiful Northern Jarrah forests, in the beautiful sunshine, with beautiful food!🫶
We kicked off our day with a short train ride aboard the Hotham Valley Forest Train to Etmilyn Siding. 🚂
After our delicious signature morning tea (yay for cumin cheese and our new fave seeded crackers🧀🙌), we wandered the #BibbulmunTrack for 10kms of bliss.
As we walked, we talked, we climbed through fallen tree branches, spotted the first fungi of the season and admired the sunshine filtering through the forest canopy.🌞🌿
Arriving in Dwellingup to delicious pizzas and a cold refreshing bevy added the icing on the cake for our beautiful day exploring Dwellingup!🍕🍻
Thanks legends for joining us out on the trail this weekend, we hope you had a blast 'cos we sure did!😉
If this looks like your jam, join us this season for a good vibes only experience!

@davidattenborough turns 100 years young today, so it feels like the perfect moment to reflect on the incredible world around us and the responsibility we all share to protect it.🌏
#wathedreamstate is home to some of the most ancient, wild and breathtaking landscapes on Earth. Towering karri forests, granite peaks, turquoise coastlines, red earth, wildflowers and winding trails that remind us just how small we are in the best possible way.🌳⛰️
The more time you spend in nature, the more connected you become to it.
And when you feel connected, you naturally want to protect it.🫶
That’s what hiking has always been about for us!
Not just movement.
Not just adventure.
But slowing down long enough to truly see the landscape, learn its stories, respect its history and leave it better than we found it.🌿
Happy 100th Birthday to a man who inspired generations to fall in love with the natural world.🎂😍
Now it’s our turn to take care of it 🧡
