An arts and crafts café with a difference! Say hello to Sheffield’s new pink palace of arty experiences - @offthe_canvas ! 🎨🩷
After a hugely popular start at @arundelemporium , the lovely lot at Off the Canvas needed more space to meet the demand and are now located across the road in their new standalone cafe venue, on Eyre Street in the city centre.
With the expansion comes a versatile events area and a dedicated ‘Splatter Room’ where you can unleash your creativity (or rage depending on the mood)
Founded by the brilliant Caitlan, @offthe_canvas began as an art group for children with neurodiversity, then expanded to adult workshops along with ‘Sip and Paint’ sessions too. Now, it’s grown into a full vibrant and welcoming destination, where everyone can get creative. 🙌
Look out for their programme of sessions and workshops - or just turn straight up and get creating.
They have tons of exciting plans in the pipeline for 2026 too, so make sure to pop down to eat, drink and create with them very soon! 🫶

To be in a room with Sheffield’s greatest is truly an honour, and to have even been nominated is crazy, the impostor syndrome was reaaaaal! To say we’ve only been open 8 months as a cafe, being nominated for an Exposed Award alongside @sheffieldtheatres , @sheffmuseums , @showroom_cinema , and @cryptidqueerssheffield is absolutely wild - and it wouldn’t have been possible without any of you 🩷
The BIGGEST congratulations to @cryptidqueerssheffield for winning the Arts & Culture Award - we are honoured to have been nominated alongside you all 😍✨

On 22nd May we’ll have a hands-on session with a professional makeup artist, where they will demonstrate how to create a flawless base and a beautifully enhanced eye look on a live model while introducing some of Lancôme’s newest and most-loved products.
This is a brush-along style class, meaning you’ll be able to follow each step as you go. Products will be placed on the tables so you can recreate the techniques alongside the artist, making it a fun, interactive learning experience.
Whether you’re looking to refresh your everyday makeup routine or learn professional tips and tricks, this masterclass will guide you through complexion perfection, eye enhancement, and product knowledge you can take away and use at home 💖
