On Saturday we participated in the 65th Anniversary of the Freedom Rides in Anniston, AL. It was truly a moving day. The Brothers of Theta Tau Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. were instrumental in helping honor and recognize this historic place and were there once again to honor the Freedom Riders who were able to participate (only one of the original Riders on the two buses is alive today but he wasn’t able to attend this afternoon portion of the event). As I was recording they then surprised me. Here is the text of the recognition: “Bro. I became the youngest vendor in the frat and the youngest ever to vend at a district conference.
