Congratulations to Bro. Rider on an incredible accomplishment, graduating college and leaving behind a legacy of leadership, service, and excellence. Initiated in Fall ’23 through the Sigma Kappa Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., he immediately stepped into leadership roles as Vice President and Secretary. From Fall ’24 through Summer ’25, he went even further, serving in every position within the chapter and demonstrating unmatched dedication to the brotherhood. A two-time Omega Undergraduate of the Year recipient, Bro. Rider consistently exemplified what it means to lead with purpose and serve with humility. His impact extended far beyond this organization, dedicating his time and energy to uplifting others and supporting multiple communities and causes. Your hard work, sacrifice, and commitment have not gone unnoticed. You truly embody the meaning of service, leadership, and perseverance. The journey is only beginning, and there is no doubt that greatness lies ahead. Congratulations again, Bro. Rider, well deserved! ⚡️⭐️

Today we honor the life and legacy of Brother Jarrett Evans, a leader, mentor, husband, and true embodiment of the Omega spirit. Initiated 10/15/2004 with Line Brothers Bro. Mike White and Bro. Arthurray Johnson (Omega Chapter), Bro. Evans helped restore Sigma Kappa and served faithfully as President. Guided by Bro. Jason Phenix (Spring ’03) and Bro. Carlos Hunter (Fall ’98), Oklahoma State Rep & 23-year Advisor, he became a lasting standard of leadership, service, and Brotherhood. His legacy lives through those he mentored, Bro. Jonathan Thomas (served as OK Undergraduate Rep), Bro. Kacy Burnett, and Bro. Jazz Kennerson, who continue to uphold Sigma Kappa traditions and the Omega standard today. Beyond the fraternity, Bro. Evans loved deeply. From noticing Dr. Ava Rose Evans’ gold boots and running over to speak with her, to years later running across a parking lot just to see her again, his love was intentional and persistent. What began as a moment she never expected became a marriage rooted in faith, support, and selflessness. He consistently encouraged her academic journey and supported her pursuit of her PhD. Dr. Evans was ABD, and this weekend as she earns her second doctorate, it stands as a reflection of her strength and their shared journey, love, and commitment. His love was genuine, unwavering, and deeply lived. A military kid with style, purpose, and a love for sports, Bro. Evans lived with authenticity. Whether planning life around football season, hosting fellowship, or showing up for others, he made people feel valued and at home. Brother Evans believed in faith, perseverance, fellowship, and love. A proud sports fan, devoted husband, mentor, and servant, he lived the motto: “Friendship is Essential to the Soul.” Though a Good Brother is gone too soon, his legacy continues through every life he touched and every Brother he inspired and continues to inspire. Rest in Omega, Bro. Jarrett Evans.

Join us in celebrating an incredible milestone for Bro. Jaylen Rider. Last week, Bro. Rider’s dedication, vision, and relentless work ethic took center stage. He earned **1st place in the i2E Entrepreneur Cup 90-second pitch**, where his excellence led to an invitation to present before the entire awards ceremony audience. Alongside his partner, he also secured **2nd place in the Undergraduate High Growth Division**, a testament to both innovation and teamwork. As if that weren’t enough, he was honored with the **Top Scholar Award** for his outstanding research and contributions through the Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program, all in the same day. Bro. Rider continues to embody the true spirit of an Omega Man: leadership, perseverance, and excellence in all endeavors. His journey reminds us that hard work, when paired with purpose, never goes unnoticed. We are proud. We are inspired. And we can’t wait to see what’s next.

Who is the solo from Spr. 26? Name: Hairiston “Herca” Bowen Line Name: Stevie WΩnder/MADDΩG Hometown: Fort Worth, Texas GPA:3.0 Major: Commercial Music Production Classification: Senior Why SNU?: I once went there for a basketball tournament when I was younger (by the way I was bound to go Pro of course!) In a time of uncertainty motherly wisdom advised me to look through memories for the way. I knew the decision to further my education would be full of unexpected circumstances so I decided to go somewhere I’ve been before. Why OMEGA PSI PHI?: I am greatly inspired by most of the OMEGA men I have met, and I’ve adopted passion to follow in their footsteps to go above and beyond in terms of success and quality of life!
