News of AI taking over tech jobs within 18-months isn’t really a concern when I just got done shooting flies with a salt gun, listening to @hayefield , foraging for bamboo in the forest for @goldcitycollective while @goodolebillyray wears a @tractorsupply hat and a three year old @carhartt shirt… digs up the treasures. I have an ice cold @brumate and an @umarex while holding a @monstermusic speaker. What was I talking about before that?
As I sat down earlier in one of my favorite little corner chairs before heading back out, I thought to my self.. To say we’ve been busy would be an understatement for the past couple of weeks. Between the late nights of staying up painting and reimagining the whole setup up here at Dills Manor, I couldn’t be more proud of all of the hard work that @officiallybee (who none of this would be possible without) and I have put into turning this house into more than just a home, but an absolute place of comfort and peace filled with love and care.
I’m learning to be better at taking little snippets of our progress and the wonderful candid moments in between.
Dinner was on point.

My husband is both hilarious and INSANELY sweet. After asking me why I extended my pinky toe nail by 50% because I completely messed up painting my nails, and just… yeah. He came back with a ton of Q tips and nail polish and sat down like he was about to perform surgery. Thank you, sweet man.
It’s a beautiful day on the farm. We have a broody little bantam hen sitting on 15! eggs and she’s determined. Only a few weeks left. 🐥 We will be able to offer up some baby chicks and more. I’ve been propogating pothos, mint, basil, rosemary, English ivy, and more. Not only that, I’ll let my husband come back in and show you what else we’ve been working on for the fellas.
BJ and I had picked out paint colors last year around this time. We decided to pivot a bit and went with this deep pine color called Pine Forest. The light green is called Farm Fresh. We also incorporated textured white wallpaper, french striped wallpaper, flat black paint. Everything has a flat base and looks absolutely beautiful. We are finalizing the rest of the cabin. But before we do, we are gonna go on an adventure with our salt & BB guns 🌲☀️
My lovely aunt sent us sourdough starter. I am deep down in a rabbit hole right now. Unbleached. Weck. Grams. Feeding. Bubbles. Sourdough bread is my most favorite thing.
